⚛ 2nd generation Japanese-American
⚛ Relationship with his parents is distant at best. They don't really talk much and occasionally forget to talk entirely for weeks on end. It's a civil relationship, but not a close one.
⚛ Toshi's been a giant since he was a kid. In school, he got called "Andre" a lot, after Andre the Giant. It was meant to be insulting and it hurt his feelings, but then he decided wrestlers are cool and he wanted to be one.
⚛ In high school, he became one of those obnoxious gym rat types who won't stop talking about his "macros" or trying to increase his bench weight. He worked his ass off in the weight room and on the mats and after graduation started training for MMA for real.
⚛ He was pretty successful in the MMA circuit for a while and had a small-time gym sponsorship, until they set up an exhibition match that should've been an easy win (and a boost for the gym's reputation) and he lost to someone like. Half his size. Toshi took it well, but his gym didn't and dropped him.

Currently:

⚛ Working as a bouncer at The Inkwell
⚛ Lives in a studio apartment, loves having people over and cooking for them. The front door is low, though, so he has to duck when he goes in.
⚛ Still spends an obscene amount of time at the gym. Or working out outside. Or thinking about his macros. While juicing.
⚛ Aggressively repressing a bunch of new memories he's stumbled into, because clearly they were repressed before if he didn't remember them which means he should just keep repressing them, right? Right. Yes. This is totally how it works. Absolutely.
⚛ Yes, he really does use that many emojis when texting. He's got an app so he can just copy paste them and everything.
⚛ Recently very into nailcare (+) but has also started accidentally biting himself a lot thanks to new teeth (-)
⚛ Flirts with nearly everyone he meets. This is usually not intentional.
